BHRT Annual Monitoring (In Clinic) (45 mins)
It is a legal requirement of receiving BHRT to have annual monitoring, including repeated assessment and blood tests. Your in person/clinic 45-monitoring appointment will revisit all aspects of your hormonal health and wellbeing, ascertain continued treatment suitability, ensure your prescription is correct and make any adjustments necessary. This fee does not include your blood tests, repeat prescriptions or dispensing and postage of your bespoke BHRT preparation (see below).
Payment in full is required at the time of booking. If you need to move the date/time of your appointment, please try to give us at least 48-hours notice.
Please make sure your blood tests have been completed BEFORE your annual monitoring appointment, otherwise you will have to book and pay for an Interim Review when you have your test results. Comprehensive 45 minute assessment with our Registered Nurse Prescriber and BHRT Specialist (in person at our clinic in Clowne, Chesterfield) covering your medical history, medications, physical, psychological and sexual health and symptoms in relation to your hormones. You will be required to complete blood tests (not included in this fee) as part of your overall assessment. These may be completed before or after your appointment. This fee includes issue of your first 3-month prescription to the pharmacy, but does not include the fee for your actual bespoke BHRT preparation/medicine which is payable directly to the pharmacy. The fee for the actual medicine is out of our control but is typically somewhere in the region of £70-£120 for a 3-month supply, depending on your exact preparation.
You can arrange your blood tests via Skin&Spirit (see Blood Tests section via our Online Booking) or you can arrange your own blood tests, however, your report must be within the last 3 months. There are certain conditions where your blood test should be taken on a certain day of the month and so it is advisable to seek our advice first prior to getting your own bloods done.
